Willie Donachie knows he is living on borrowed time. The former Manchester City and Ipswich Town coach has come under increasing pressure from fans after The Lions' poor start of the season that has seen his side pick up just five points. But he realises he could have easily found himself out of work if it weren't for an understanding board.
Speaking to the South London Press, the Millwall boss thanked Stewart Till and John Berylson for their continued support, support that allowed him to bring in Will Hoskins from Watford on loan last week.
"I am very lucky the two chairmen have tried hard to help me," said Donachie. "They've given me funds to get players on loan and telling me if I come up with the right players they will do so again."
