Dolan, who has only just returned from a loan spell with Walton & Hersham, has fallen down the pecking order at Millwall and is now behind Mark Phillips and Paul Robinson in the line for a place in the Lions' starting line-up.
Rather than sit in the reserves, manager Dennis Wise is hoping that the spell with Crawley will keep the genial former U-21 Irish International match fit, should the Lions need to call upon his services.
