Just when he thought he could start handing over one or two players back to manager Kenny Jackett, physio Bobby Bacic received three new patients in Alan Dunne, Zak Whitbread and Lewis Grabban, who all picked up knocks and fractures that could see a premature end to their seasons. However, it's not all doom and gloom, you'll be pleased to hear.
"Lewis Grabban is making steady progress and is targeting a return to training this week," Bacic told the club's official site. "Zak Whitbread suffered a tiny crack on the top of his arm and the situation is being monitored but he has not been ruled out for the season yet."
The unlucky trio have also been joined by Marc Laird, Neil Harris and Andy Frampton, who all have niggling little injuries, but all three are expected to feature against Leeds United at the weekend but the same can not be said of Tom Brighton, who's injured again and been given another two-week target to return to training! But with his contract up at the end of the season, we may have seen the last of the jovial Scot, despite The Lions' problems up front.
Speaking of centre forwards, Millwall are unlikely to see Adrian Forbes or Gary Alexander anywhere near the first team again after a torn thigh muscle and a slightly sore ankle put paid to their seasons.
