A small reminder that it's Dockers' Day at The Den tomorrow, when Millwall Football Club will commemorate its Docklands heritage with a series of events before the game against Chesterfield.
As well as inviting a group of dockers to the game the club have also invited along the surviving members of the 1957 Lions team that knocked FA Cup holders Newcastle United out of the competition that year. Stan Anslow, John Shepherd, Ray Brand, Bill Lloyd, Denis Pacey and John Smith will all be in attendance and The Port of London Authority will present a commemorative trophy to the dockers.
Representatives from the Museum in Docklands and the Island Trust will also be present.
