Dichio for Millwall - Rumours!

It is understood Millwall could be targeting the Hammersmith-born striker because Dichio's chances of a move are restricted to clubs outside of the Premiership unless he waits for the transfer window to re-open in the New Year.

He was linked with a summer move to The Den in a possible cash-plus-player swap for Richard Sadlier but that came to nothing.

However, rumours are rife that Dichio could be the subject of a renewed Lions bid after he was slapped on the transfer list by the Baggies on Monday.

Dichio maintains strong links in the capital following his four-year spell at QPR, where he made his name, and would welcome a move back nearer his home town.

The only sticking point would be whether Millwall could afford his transfer fee and his Premiership-level wages, having recently signed Dennis Wise.
