According to reports, the promising centre-half, who spent much of last season on-loan at Torquay United, has been sold to The Railwaymen for a cut price figure in order to lower the wage bill.
The story has yet to be confirmed - or denied - by the club, but if true, the player's sale would leave new boss Steve Claridge with just three recognised first-team defenders and would make a mockery of chairman Jeff Burnige's supposed policy of keeping The Lions' best young players.
Joe Dolan meanwhile is set to join Leyton Orient after being given a free transfer by Millwall two months ago.
