Braniff, who has been in and out of the Lions starting line-up since he made his debut as an 18-year-old, will join his team-mates at Nene Park for pre-season training and will return to The Den on October 16th.
The move will give the youngster the opportunity to get a run of first team games under his belt and hopefully boost his confidence in front of goal. Rushden, who were last season relegated from Division Two, will keep Lions manager Dennis Wise informed of Braniff's progress.
