The 31-year-old striker - who missed a year at Millwall through injury - will have a medical today and could sign for the club by the weekend.
Speaking to the club's official website, Millwall manager Colin Lee confirmed the news:
"I had a long chat with Bob Peeters and told him that he's unlikely to be a first team regular. I don't like players, and in particular senior players, sitting around unable to get regular football.
"Bob decided with his agent to make approaches to see if he could get fixed back in Belgium. Provided the medical goes OK I anticipate Bob will leave us within the next few days."
