Gary Alexander looks unlikely to play for Millwall again this season after suffering an injury setback.
The striker has been out of action since scoring the winner against Leeds United back in October after spurring his ankle bone. It was thought that he could be back in action in two weeks time after responding well to treatment following the removal of his protective boot but he was back in plaster this week after the club's medical staff felt that the ankle had not healed properly.
It is thought that Alexander will be out for at least three months with an outside chance of maybe playing in the play-offs if The Lions finish in the top six.
