The former Coventry City defender, who joined The Lions last summer, picked up a whopping 43.3% of the popular vote as he strolled to a thoroughly deserved victory. Striker Darren Byfield was a distant second with 12% despite only playing one half of the season while right back Danny Senda finished third.
Despite being the old man of the side, Shaw has had an impressive debut season at The Den and has been solid at the back throughout the troubled campaign.
