Incoming!!
According to the club's official site, Dennis Wise has been in negotiations with five players as well as South African centre forward Siyabonga Nomvete but being the official site, they failed to name any of them, which leaves us to speculate on their behalf.
The word on the street is that the "Latvian Michael Owen" Marian Pahars will be joining The Lions in the next couple of weeks and will tie up a contract once he has returned from holiday. If he does join The Lions, he may line-up alongside Swedish goalkeeper Magnus Hedman, who has supposedly signed a pre-contract agreement, and Watford's Micah Hyde.
WBA left back Neil Clement is still being linked with the club and is thought to be one of Tuttle's 'Famous Five' but he may find himself in competition with Graeme Le Saux for the left back berth. Arsenal's Graham Stack has also apprently had talks with the club while in midfield, we can expect to see Tim Sherwood playing alongside Jody Morris and Stan Laziridis... Hmmmm.
Not Coming!!
As reported on Millwall Mad earlier in the week, goalkeeper Danny Milosevic has decided to seek fame and fortune elsewhere and will now not be having a trial with The Lions. Also not joining us is striker Barry Hayles and defender John Harley, both of whom have joined Sheffield Wednesday.
Dearly Departed?
Tim Cahill is still going to Charlton/Palace/Rangers/Real Madrid. However, he's now been joined by Paul Ifill. Apparently Charlton have bid £5 million for the pair, who have been seen in-and-around The Valley, despite the fact that Ifill is on international duty with Barbados and Cahill is on holiday in Australia.
Finally, Charly Hearn is off to Brighton & Hove Albion for a nominal sum and Robbie Ryan is off to Burnley on a Bosman.
Next week, we fully expect Jimmy to have signed so keep 'em peeled!!
